DO YOU ALIGN WITH YOUR STAR?

Imagine weeks of ever darkening days and longer nights. Finally, dawn comes on the 21st of December and no-one welcomes the sun, your star. Your ancestors welcomed it for millennia. Now it's your turn.

Christmas falls on the festival of light, winter solstice,
well they missed by a few days. One of my reverend friends said, "We don't know when the birth of Christ was, but we know it wasn't in December." So, why now? Because the festival of light is important and it makes for a good symbolic match.

Take this holiday season back from the merchants and the
inane TV specials and build an altar on solstice. I will.
I have in the past. When I build the altar, I feel in alignment with all there is. Peace on earth; good will towards men.

When you align deeply with the rhythms of your planet, your life takes on a new dimension of wholeness. Try it.

To help you play with this idea, I gift you with my highly collaborative e-manual, ALTAR MAKING - A SPIRITUAL PRACTICE TO DEEPEN YOUR CONNECTION TO THE SACRED. I want you to have this now, gratis so that you can use it for the solstice.

Go for it => http://www.vitalarts.net/art/altar.html

P.S. Feel free to pass this on to anyone you feel would
benefit from it. When I wrote this book, my internal
guidance directed that I was to pass the book on without
fee, even though it's one of my best books.

The Floor Is Your Friend

There is a particular feeling of time stopping when you get your body down on the floor, whether it's to practice a lying-down meditation such as the body scan or to systematically work the body gently but firmly toward its limits in first this direction, then that, as we do in mindful hatha yoga. Just being low down in a room tends to clear the mind. Maybe it's because being on the floor is so foreign to us that it breaks up our habitual neurological patterning and invites us to enter into this moment through a sudden opening in what we might call the body door.

In hatha yoga practice, the idea is to be fully in your body as you bring awareness to the various sensations, thoughts, and feelings which come up while you are moving, stretching, breathing, holding positions, reaching or lifting with arms, legs, and torso. There are said to be over 8o,ooo basic yoga postures. One won't quickly run out of new challenges for the body; but I find I keep coming back to a core routine of maybe twenty or so postures, which over the years just keep taking me deeper into my body and deeper into stillness.

…Try getting down on the floor once a day and stretching your body mindfully, if only for three or four minutes, staying in touch with your breathing and with what your body is telling you. Remind yourself that this is your body today. Check to see if you are in touch with it.

Jon Kabat-Zinn, Wherever You Go There You Are

I don’t remember how many years ago I heard the phrase or which of my insightful colleagues whispered, “The floor is your friend.” But my whole self resonated, “Yes!”

You can use the floor to slip the bonds of stress. You can use the floor to explore your body. You can use the floor to expand consciousness. You can use the floor to change perspective. You can use your floor to expand your abilities to move gracefully. You can use your floor to heal aches and pains.

You can also use the floor for other beneficial activities such as Pilates, playing with children, smooching with your lover, doing crunches, or performing push-ups, but for now leave these activities for another time on the floor.

Allow me to remind you that you have had a long friendship with the floor, but you may have strayed into the higher regions in past years. When you were a child and into your teens, you spent time on the floor every day.

When did you stop rolling around on the floor? When did you stop reading on the floor? When did you stop sitting on the floor to talk with friends?

My colleague, Joelle Everett, shared this story with me passed on by a friend.

He went once to a conference at a well-known conference center -- an old one -- on the east coast. He knew, from being told, that he had been there as a small child, with his parents, so he expected to recognize something, but no such luck.

Sometime later in the day, he squatted down to talk to someone, and discovered that he recognized the space from that angle!

Paul (Joelle’s husband) and I also saw a neat film once, a tour of an empty house, filmed at a child's eye level--it was remarkably moving, stirring many old memories.

Isn’t that cool.

Get on the floor and see what you can see and feel what you can feel.

Tips:

• Use a carpeted floor, mat, folded towel or blanket to soften the surface or do this on grass for a real pleasure.

• Play relaxing music.

• Turn the phone off.

• Dress comfortably with freedom to move with as little or as many clothes as will do the job for you. Remember the floor is often cooler and as you relax, your body temperature will drop.

“What do I do when I’m on the floor, William?”

Go back to Jon Kabot Zinn’s suggestion above. See what you can see. Feel your body. Stretch. Play. Put your arms up towards the ceiling. Put your feet towards the ceiling.

Roll on the floor like a log with your arms tightly held to your sides. Try it with your arms stretched out as far as you can reach and point your toes.

Pretend you’re a dog scratching her back by rolling on the ground.

Pretend you’re a cat and reach out with your claws as far as you can – one at a time or all at once.

A Simple Exercise

Years ago, I turned my nose up at this one at first because it seemed too easy. I tried it anyhow and loved it. It is easy and that’s its advantage, you can exquisitely feel the floor and the feedback it gives you as you roll.

Here’s what you do:

• Lie on your back.
• Hug your knees towards your chest.
• Roll to the side, then roll back to the other side.
• Repeat as many times as feels great. Maybe, take a break, then roll some more.
• Feel everything in your spine. When I first did this, I lifted my head off the ground. Play with letting your neck relax, so that your head rests on the floor as you and it rolls side to side. Let the knees go first, and let the spine and neck follow.
• Feel the sensuous pleasure that you derive from the contact with the floor.
• Explore different speeds e.g. what happens when you make the movement really s l o w …
• Explore modifying the movements to get at other parts of your body.
• Imagine what a dog, cat, or other animal friend would do rolling on the floor.
• How would a kid do it?

Here’s a question for you – How does being on the floor shift your perspective? What possibilities show up that you didn’t have before?

The Power of Tennis Balls

Tennis balls, trigger points, and acupuncture, oh my.

When I suggest to clients that they lie on the floor and play with tennis balls, I sometimes secretly fear they won’t come back to see me anymore, not because they’ll think I’m too weird, but because I know how effective the tennis balls are at removing physical problems, stress, and fatigue. They might not need my hands on services any more.

Your most potent, energy restoring, stress fighting, body balancing acupuncture points and trigger points are spread out across your back. When you put specific, direct, sustained pressure on these points, you create a powerful healing and restorative benefit for yourself at no charge.

You don’t have to know where these points are located to take advantage of them. Google “acupuncture chart” if you want to know more about these points and how to locate them.

For example, this one is cool.

Here’s what you do –

• Grab a tennis ball and take it to the floor with you.

• Lie down on top of the tennis ball and roll to a spot that feels tender or uncomfortable, then stay there. You have found one of the useful healing points.

• Breathe slowly into the spot. Imagine it melting with each breath. Alternately, you can imagine it being filled with a golden liquid healing light as you breathe into the sensations. If it feels too intense, leave, roll to the next stop. If you enjoy the sensation, stay and absorb the simple pleasure of it.

• Keep rolling to new spots until you have explored your whole back including your hips and pelvis.

• You can do a little or a lot in each session. Play and explore to your hearts content.

• You can focus on just one trouble spot such as the tension in the upper back or hips. If you have a pain in your shoulder, for instance, concentrate on that area. Roll all over the area making minute adjustments as the body changes.

• Do it every day for a few minutes anyhow and feel how your body improves and becomes more flexible, fluid and powerful. You can watch how your life gets better when you do this on a regular basis. Focus on trouble spots and soon you will find them no longer trouble spots.

The Hidden Benefit of Presence and Perspective

Becoming fully present, being in the moment, being mindful frees you from stress. It’s a secret. Being present can heal almost any problem you have.

Everything you have done so far in this article has moved you to deeper presence. The following corpse pose strips this down to the bare bones and makes practicing presence a breeze. You will say too, “The floor my friend.”

Floating on the Floor

There is a knack to learning to float on the sea. A certain letting go is required.

Recall that body memory as you lie on your back, legs spread about shoulder width, arms spread to your sides about 45 degree, palms up. Like floating in the ocean, let go into the floor.

Start by taking three slow, deep, low in the belly breaths.

Now really feel the feedback you get from the floor. Feel where the floor is supporting you.

Let go into that support. Can you trust the floor to hold you up? Let go again. Did you notice any additional decrease in muscle tension as you let go this second time? I usually do.

Once more, let go again and float on the floor.

You can scan the whole body from toes to head and let go anywhere you want. And let go again. Let the floor hold you. It willingly holds you.

Bring your attention to your dominant hand. Can you feel the weight of your dominant hand as it lies on the floor. From the inside, can you feel the inside of your hand? Feel all the sensations in your hand. You may be surprised at how much you can feel.

Can you feel the life force in your hand? Yes?

Now feel for the life force in your other hand.

Can you feel the life in both of your hands at the same time? Let that experience spread so that you can feel the life force in your whole body.

Presence

Notice as you experience the body that you feel present. Your chattering mind has turned off, at least for a moment, and what remains is the profound experience of peace. Know that whenever you attend to your sensations in this way your chattering mind will shut of and you will be experiencing the ineffable presence.

You have the ability to change your consciousness.

The sensations you experience can be no-where else but right here, right now. You are nowhere else but right here, right now. You do not argue in your head about who was right and who was wrong. Fears have melted away. Regrets have melted away. You have no thoughts of the future or the past. All is well in presence.

This is the power of being in the present. Feels good, yes? Stress gone, yes? You now know how to get here anytime you want.

After you have played with feeling the energy in your hands and your body sufficiently, you will be able to feel the life force in your whole body anywhere, any time you choose.

“So what?” you querry. You can use this to be present and centered whenever you want. This is good.

You can use this when you want to listen deeply to someone. You can use this to center yourself before making presentation or having a confrontational conversation.

Being present changes your perspective. A new perspective can change everything and permit you to see possibilities and solutions to your life’s problems where none existed before.

This can lead to the deepest version of the cup half full.

What story could I tell here?

Cancer survivor Happy Rockefeller says this:
Once you have been confronted with a life-and-death situation, trivia no longer matters. Your perspective grows and you live at a deeper level. There’s no time for pettiness.

More Things You Can Play With

You can use these resources to expand possibilities, remove more stress, increase grace and ease in movement, and deepen your friendship with your floor.

Somatics by Thomas Hanna. Hanna has eight lessons that can keep you moving smoothly for the rest of your life. He writes with a bit of know-it-all authority, but the exercises will feel good, fun, and inviting. Explanations and illustrations walk you through, or should I say, “Roll you through.” After you have explored the lessons, Hanna offers a cat stretch of the highlights of the program. This five-minute routine works beautifully to keep you limber and connected. I use these daily now.

Yoga
In Seattle, every street has a yoga studio. You can probably find something where you live, too. Look for classes at fitness clubs, YMCAs, and the like as well as full-fledged yoga studios. Although I recommend you work with a teacher, your library will have tons of books, tapes, and DVD’s on yoga.

Pavel Tsatsouline
Note: These floor practices above do not replace Pavel’s Relax Into Stretch or Super Joints but work well in conjunction with his material.

Relax into Stretch : Instant Flexibility Through Mastering Muscle Tension. The two books cover different material and this one just focuses on stretching. It busts myths yet remains safe. I'd recommend it for everyone. This is THE stretching book.

Super Joints --Russian Longevity Secrets for Pain-Free Movement, Maximum Mobility and Flexible Strength If I were the king of the universe I would have ALL my patients over 40 enjoying these benefits.

The Outcome Is the Intention

Today, I reveal a therapy axiom that will lay bare the mysteries of some of your worst relationships and lead you to living a life you wholeheartedly love.

Whenever I get together with my friend, Odysseus, we both end feeling upset. I profess that we like each other and enjoy each other, but frequently something goes amiss. We misunderstand each other with the result that someone, usually both of, gets their feelings hurt. I end up feeling hopeless, helpless, and sad.

Feeling hopeless, helpless, and sad at the same time form the defining ingredients for a diagnosis of depression to me. I would declare that depression is not something I intend on having in my life, but I admit, I used to find myself there often, less so as I learn the insights that I share with you in this article.

You ask, “Is depression a familiar place for you William?”

“Yes… Gee, I have been doing this my entire life with a certain types of people. They are intelligent people who have been downtrodden enough so that they come to believe they have little worth. My job is to help them see their value. My job is to save them from a mean world.”

* * * * *

Therapy Axiom – The Outcome Is The Intention.

This therapy axiom can free you from pain and help to explain the strange dances you observe in others around you. You may be familiar with the corollary –

“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” Albert Einstein
Another example:

Every time Diana meets with Athena, Diana feels small and unsuccessful.

• The Outcome – Feeling small and unsuccessful.
• The Intention – I (Athena) want you to feel small and unsuccessful.
• Deeper Outcome – What desired outcome does Diana get for feeling small and unsuccessful? What does she get from the game?
• Deeper Intention – What does Diana intend to get from feeling small and unsuccessful. You can bet she gets something of value or she wouldn’t be playing the game that looks painful from the outside.

The desired outcome for Diana could be anything. One example could be that she gains companionship with Athena. Feeling small and unsuccessful could simply be the price of admission to Athena’s company. Diana could also take pride in helping Athena feel like the goddess of wisdom.

Another: When Athena feels big and successful, she bestows upon Diana cakes and golden rings. Diana deeply enjoys Athena’s largesse.

None of this is right or wrong, good or bad. It just is. Humans are complex.

So, how does this help you to be happy and whole?

When you find yourself in a relationship that REPEATEDLY falls into ugly ruts, step back and ask yourself this question.

If the outcome is the intention, then what outcome is s/he going for?

It helps to start the process by pointing the finger at Athena. As Diana’s friend, I immediately want to exclaim, “Athena is BAD!” She may or may not be bad, but I guarantee both Athena and Diana play the game as equals even though it may not look it at first.

Because humans blame every time, as far as I can see, you will find it useful to flush your blame from the underbrush, and start by pointing the finger at Athena, in this case. After you discern what a persons intention is by using the axiom, you can choose to play with the Athenas in your life or not. You can now choose consciously knowing the game.

To be clear, I want you to use your native survival instinct to blame, but don’t take it seriously. You will just be using it to uncover deeper material. In the end, blame never gets you what you want. Blame feeds the ego’s -- the small self’s -- need to be right. By using blame, you can sneak up on your small self, expose the game, and gain some freedom.

You, Diana and I can try to start a new game. Depending on the depth of the rut, this can be very difficult. Have you ever driven a car on a deeply rutted road? It can be difficult wrestling with the steering wheel to pull out of the rut.

My father and I played the “God isn’t it awful” game. He would play the first piece by reporting about something awful. I’d agree and try to top it. Back and forth we’d go with our entries in the game, comparing miseries in the world. Within a very short time, we were both depressed.

I could sometimes swing the conversation in other directions, but it rarely succeeded for long.

Because I chose to be in relationship with my father, I continued to try to drive out of the ruts and rationed the amount of time I spent with him in the ruts. I discovered ways to be with him where the game never even came up. Taking walks with him around his Santa Barbara home put us into new, good patterns. The beautiful, soft climate outside created a beautiful soft climate for us as well. Naturally, this was my first choice of ways to be with him.

Diana faces the same choice. If she can’t switch Athena to a different game, she may have to choose not to play with her anymore.

She could also choose to just play the game and notice how it unfolds. The game is not inherently bad, just unconscious. By witnessing it, paying attention to the nuances as if she were watching Macbeth unfold, she can remain conscious and stay in present time. Staying in present time, observer mode, Diana can enjoy the unfolding wonder of life.

What’s a better game, you ask? Examples:

• Share and acknowledge each other’s strengths and victories.
• Listen to their soul talk. Accept them just the way they are.
• Share dreams, visions, and plans.
• Argue about baseball or vintage wines.
• Take cooking classes together.
• Go tracking in wilderness areas or city parks as my father and I did.
• Play card games.
• Go to movies, have coffee and discuss the nuances of the directors choices.
• Start an online business.
• Remodel a home, build a house.

Do you see how this works?

Finally, but less importantly, we can delve into what William gets for being in depressing conversations with his father, painful conversations with Odysseus, and Diana with Athena. Frankly, there isn’t much juice there. Just recognize that it takes two to tango. Once you have observed it is a game, the spell is broken and you can choose. That’s the big prize.

Wildcraft – An Herbal Adventure Game

John Gallagher possesses a passion for the natural world and for herbs as food and medicine. John’s eyes twinkle in fun much of the time, so naturally he would invent a fun way to teach you about herbal medicine.

Wildcraft - An Herbal Adventure Game looks like a great way to teach yourself and your children more about this world. Anything that John offers will benefit you. This current offering will, too.

In celebration of this new product offering, John is hosting a series of teleconferences at no charge. Just sign up and show up on your telephone. Along with signing up for the teleconference comes a complementary e-book, titled – The Dandelion.

I like this children’s ebook quite a bit. It has a parent tip section. You are sharp enough to know that you truly learn when you teach. You’ll discover a plentitude of insights for adults and children.

Among other things, the book trains you and your children in how to use field guides, but it seems to be more fun and more useful than most field guides I have read. Why aren’t adult books this much fun and useful?

Infinite Coach

This sweet gem, The Infinite Coach, will sooth your heart and free you to fly. Alexandra Gayek, ND put this audio series of CDs or tapes together so you could easily absorb and apply the wonderful teachings of Wallace Wattles’ Science of Being Well. The first disk alone is worth the price of admission. I repeatedly listen to this one. I enjoy it with breakfast.

It provides the general overview but who cares… I get Alexandra and her delightful confidence reminding me of truths I already know, that you already know in your bones and in your heart. If you’re like me, you benefit from a regular stream this valuable support.

Each of the remaining seven disks hones in on a particular aspect of health.

Here are the titles to the CDs:

1. Building your Conception of Perfect Health -- My favorite.
2. Transforming your Mind and Body through Forgiveness – This forgiveness has muscle.
3. Healing Now through Gratitude – Don’t miss this one. Really.
4. Healing Quickly from Infectious Disease – She reveals some cool insights here. And you know you will get a cold at least once more. I liked the ideas so much I wanted to get a cold just to appreciate the perspective Alexandra brings to the infectious disease process.
5. Healing for Surgery, Injury, or Chronic Disease
6. Transforming Fear and Anxiety – This one is a hoot, too.
7. Interrupting Addictive Behavior
8. Preparing for Rejuvenating Sleep

Alexandra says, “The tape on addictions doesn’t make much sense unless your addiction is flaring up at the time you listen to it.” How cool is that? I liked what I heard even though when I listened to it my addictions were not active.

Interrupting Addictive Behavior has a set of wonderful questions to engage options. These fascinated me –

In this situation (she refers to the circumstances you are in that make indulging in your addiction seem appealing)

• What would my worst enemy do? Cool, huh.
• What would Spiderman do?
• What would Mother Theresa do?

The disk dealing with infectious disease radically reframes disease from battlefield metaphors to one of a friendly servant. This conversation gives you a good handle for a way to look at health in general.

One force in the universe influences and creates everything. And it likes you. As I say to clients periodically, there is a god and she likes you and is capable of helping.

My research staff of insomniacs tested disk 8 – Preparing for Rejuvenating Sleep. She reports it helped her to get to sleep the first few times but after that, she was familiar enough with it to return to the loops of mental chatter you may be familiar with.

That’s OK. I was curious. The disk aims at rejuvenation, not curing sleep disorders. It sets you up to get the most out of the restoration that sleep provides which some squander or don’t fully harvest. You will be able to take full advantage of the miraculous benefits of sleep.

I recommend you get the Infinite Coach series with Alexandra’s guarantee you have nothing to lose:

Try it for a full three months. Listen to every tape or CD. If you don't LOVE your new audio program and the results you're getting, simply return the set for a full refund of your purchase price.

Alexandra is a long time friend and colleague. Just listening to her voice with the lovely nature sounds in the background makes me happy and peaceful. If you’re like me, you will find these CDs healing in the deeper sense of the word. You will recognize and align with your inherent wholeness.

Cure for Overwhelm

Suzanne and I are moving to a new home. We have just completed the process of finding a home and buying it. We are now in the stage of gutting the kitchen and building a new one.

This all sounds like fun doesn’t it. Well so far, we just suffer. We feel swamped emotionally with the hundreds of little losses and some large ones and with the transitions I wrote about recently. (See related articles at the bottom of the page.) We feel we have too much to do; we feel helpless much of the time and a bit hopeless. I fret and worry. Hopeless, helpless and scared form the ingredients for overwhelm. Overwhelm equals suffering.

I have been relying on all that I teach my clients -- rest, eat well, talk to supportive friends, exercise. Remembering the following phrase serves me as the most useful strategy I can apply myself.

You may have heard me use this phrase.

There is no-where to go and no-thing to do.

This phrase uttered repeatedly will echo deeply enough to remind me and pull me from despair.

“Ah, there is no-where to go and no-thing to do. Ahhh.” Then I can rest and open my heart and my chest, which I have clenched with worry. I rest in that truth while at the same time with a bit of Judo like leverage flip myself into peaceful action. I can go about my business, the activities of life knowing there is nowhere to go and nothing to do. I am calm and serene. It is a lovely trick that is worthy of mastery.

My recommendation: Play with the phrase and see where it takes you. Ideally, play with it before you think you need it. I say “think you need it” because in fact you need it right now. It is a core truth, which negates the lies of the modern world – everything is urgent and you’re late.

Here’s how Eckart Tolle says much the same thing.

Do you treat this moment as if it were an obstacle to be overcome? Do you feel you have a future moment to get to that is more important?

When I am in the midst of suffering I cry, “Yes! Of course, get me out of this. Now!”

But when I read his questions, take a breath, and remember that there is nowhere to go and nothing to do, I can relax and look for the joy and ease in this moment. In this moment as it is without need of changing anything.

The quote comes from one of my favorite books of Tolle’s -- Stillness Speaks. It is a collection of bite-sized truths. Here’s what you do -- read a bite-sized truth, close the book, and ponder. They can profoundly improve your life.

Notes from the Universe Revisited

I suffer from feeling unloved by the Universe, by God. More accurately, one of my little Williams, the three year old, feels this way.

Right now, I have many circumstances in my life that overload my resources and I feel overwhelmed. So especially at this time, I find that getting daily reminders from the Universe helps me to rebuild and bolster the truth – little William is loved by God and it will all work out.

Below is a recent example.

***
Okay! So, finally, {firstname_fix}, I think you're ready to learn the real reason time and space was invented... dancing.
That, and somersaults. You know, for when you were even younger.
And skipping. And humming. And playing make-believe...
Okay, okay, okay... The real, real reason, {firstname_fix}... was you.

It's true.

Just didn't want to hit you with that in the first breath and have you spill something.
You make me even younger -

You'll Like Tear Soup

Tear Soup

Add this book, Tear Soup by Pat Schweibert, to your list of books everyone must read.

Why? Because it kindly and compassionately guides you through the journey of grieving. You will find no academic language or obscure theory in Tear Soup, just kindness and clarity. You will know why you are feeling the way you are, and why people are acting the way they do. Furthermore, you will allow more compassion for yourself (a miracle) and for others.

The Portland, Oregon author has turned her home into a hospice and has hosted dying people there for years. She knows what you need for your tear soup.

Because you will experience loss and grief over and over again, it behooves you to know how to move through it. Knowing the ropes will make your journey safer and more comfortable even in your discomfort and loss. Grieving belongs to us as humans just as does falling in love and finding your soul’s work contributions. Don’t skip it. It makes our lives rich.

One of my teachers said rightly, “All therapy is grief therapy.”

Taylor Bills beautifully and lovingly illustrated Tear Soup. These illustrations help me immensely. I find the illustrations soften my heart, but not my head. I recommend you read this to children long before they have a need for it as if loss isn’t a continual occurrence during life.

To preview his sweet, inviting illustrations go to Amazon and look at some. To do that, click here. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN=0961519762/williamwittmannvA/

... then click the title to go to the main Tear Soup page. Then click the link on the book cover in the upper left hand part of the page. It says – Look Inside. You have to see the illustrations to appreciate their full value.

“William, it looks great for kids, does the book work for adults?”

“Yes! Tear Soup came to me from one of my adult patients who is grieving the most grievous loss you can imagine. Its gentleness held her confidently and supported her through this “more than she can bear” time.

“Don’t worry, although the book is sweet and compassionate, it does not lack for muscle.”

One of the opening pages displays soup pots lined up on a kitchen counter. The tiny saucepan sits on the left and the huge institutional pot on the right.

She labels them, smallest to largest –

• Not Fair
• Bad News
• Big Disappointment
• Serious Heartache
• Profound Loss
• Major Tragedy
• More Than I Can Bear

Get the book. Read it. Read it to your children and/or grandchildren. Bring it out as needed. Leave it lying around for guerrilla therapy.

Blessings and thanks for buying from my Amazon bookstore,

William

A Profitable Promotion for You

Salutations,

STOP: This newsletter may not be for you.

I am helping Mark Joyner promote his new book. The book is
for anyone who wants to earn his or her livelihood with less
effort and more clarity of purpose. Is that you?

One could easily get confused and decide this book serves
sales people only. That's a mistake.

I have owned and operated by own business for over 30 years
so I understand if you earn your living vs. living on a
trust fund or investing, you will want this book.

I recognize that some people don't feel they sell anything
to earn their living. I think they are in a mild state of
denial. We present our products to the marketplace all the
time. For most people their product is their skill set that
they bring to the work place. What skill set do you sell?

My primary skill is the ability to be present and help
others to be in presence, too.

Read on for the fun…

The Great Formula: for Creating Maximum Profit with Minimal
Effort by Mark Joyner http://tinyurl.com/kw22z

I like the subtitle. This appeals me, too -

"The Great Formula works because it stresses simplicity and
focuses just on those actions that get results. It's real-
world, down-to-earth selling advice that's so
straightforward even the smartest people often overlook it.
But great businesses, whether they know it or not, use The
Great Formula everyday. As proof, Joyner examines a variety
of successful businesses-some you might already know about-
and shows you how they used The Great Formula to great
success."

Recently, I sent you a newsletter suggesting you take
advantage of Simpleology - the Simple Science of Getting
What You Want. http://tinyurl.com/rt9hz

In that newsletter, I told you I have found value in
everything of Mark Joyner's I have read. I feel the same
about this promotion.

Here is the offer -

If you buy the book and put the sales receipt in the box on
the page, you will get a cool bonus. Mark's web site will
reveal all.

Here's what you do.

1) Go to his web site => http://thegreatformula.com/ .

The site will help you decide whether you want the book, or
not.

2) If you like what you see, come back here and buy the
book from me. Why come back here, because Amazon will shell
out a 4% commission to me for your purchase. And I
appreciate these little trickles of income. Thanks in
advance.

3) Copy the sales receipt number you get from Amazon and go
back to http://thegreatformula.com/ and place your sales
receipt number where indicated.

4) The site will whisk you to another page where you can
enjoy your bonus. Have fun.

Blessings,

William

P.S. I continue to enjoy and employ Joyner's companion book
-The Irresistible Offer: How to Sell Your Product or Service
in 3 Seconds or Less.
Amazon has them in their BETTER TOGETHER section. If you
buy them together, you will have the benefit of a discount.
You'll want them both.

The Simple Science of Getting What You Want

I have found a program with the unfortunate name -- Simpleology - Simple Science of Getting What You Want by Mark Joyner and it seems to be pretty darned useful.

This program has such merit that I have replaced my other planning tools for this one. For that’s what this is – a great planning tool for getting what you want in life.

The big axiom in life coaching is:

Do more of what works and less of what doesn’t.

Simple? The hard part is noticing what works and deciding to change. Simpleology and any good coach helps you to do these very things – notice, observe, decide, change, then continually repeat the process.

Because Simpleology performs so well for me, I recommend it to you and all my private clients.

I think it is especially useful for people making big shifts in their lives. I used it to launch my private member web site, Body & Soul Mentor, in record time. The process would have taken twice as long without it.

Mark Joyner, the creator, claims you will double or triple your effectiveness. I agree. And that’s no small accomplishment in my case. I was already disciplined, focused, and effective.

The training program consists of written material, recorded material, short Power Point lessons of about 3-5 minutes, and amusing quizzes.

I do recommend you follow his directions and do all the steps. I did. Simpleology works best when you do the whole package.

To my surprise, it is fun. Get into it, and it’s a hoot. More good news…

Simpleology is a free program, and they will invite you to purchase what I bet you will discover to be valuable products along the way. I haven’t tried any of the other stuff, so I won’t say. I can and will say that I have gotten good value from everything of Mark Joyner’s that I have used. Furthermore, Mark Joyner teaches and acts on the principle of the 100% money back guarantee. You will have nothing to lose by trying his offers.

You can get it all here:

My guess is The Simple Science of Getting What You Want will change your life and help you hit your targets. I am excited about what it is doing for me -- Better focus, fewer distractions, more oomph, confidence and excitement.

Blessings,

William

P.S. Feel free to pass the link on to others, or the whole letter for that matter.

William Wittmann Life Coaching in Seattle One -- Learning Herbs leaningherbs.com: "Learning Herbs? Yes!
'Learning Herbs. Yes!' I declare.
'Hold on, I know what you may be going to say.'
'Why do I have to learn herbs? I have doctors for that stuff.' you plead, right? You continue, 'Aren't pharmaceutical drugs better than herbs anyhow?'
Therein lies the story.
Here lies your core motive:"
