Elvis Has Left the Building…

Elvis Has Left the Building…

After years of providing valuable service to members of Body and Soul Mentor including providing wonderful life Giving Manuals & Programs, special videos, and podcasts the stage has gone dark.

Body & Soul Mentor website has closed. You can’t be a member any longer.

You won’t’ be able to get any of the products on the open market any longer.

Certainly, it’s been a good run.  However, it’s time for a new Body & Soul Mentor to arise.  In the next few weeks I’ll be putting the finishing touches on the new Body & Soul Mentor member website.

The rallying cry is, “More fun, less cost.”

This is more fun for you and for me.  Lower costs for me.  Lower costs for me mean that I can lower your monthly fees.  So it’s lower costs for you and for me.

Hurray!

For less than the price of a Netflix membership or a Sunday paper subscription, a membership in Body & Soul Mentor supports you on your journey to living a life you love wholeheartedly - body & soul – while making a difference in your world.

For decades, I have lovingly mentored people, just like you, on their sacred journey with encouragement, inspiration, insights, and magical resources.

Clearly, the new site will be more fun and easier to use. Simpler over all.  And simpler is good for you and for me, right?

Here’s a preview of the programs and manuals you’ll get as a member, if you choose to join.

While you stay tuned for The Grand Opening of the new Body & Soul Mentor…

Walk in beauty,

William

P.S.  Obviously, my Amazon books and kindles are still available HERE.

And if you’re the one that’s been buying them, thank you.  Amazon doesn’t tell me who to thank – sad but a good idea to protect your privacy.

Notes from the Universe

I love these FREE daily emails I get.  I love them so much I forward specifically inspiring ones to my girls.  I save the ones that move me so I can go back and get another boost.

They help to reboot my thinking.

Here’s a recently poignant one to me as I work on healing shame in myself and in clients.

To some, on other planets, William, you get more done in a single day than they do in an entire year.

On this planet, however, getting things done has been confused with worthiness.

I guess that pretty much answers the intelligent life question.

You're still out of this world,
The Universe

Notice, the note uses my name.  When you get yours, it will use your name.

You can even ask the Notes to the Universe emails to address your personal goals.

See below --

These goals will occasionally be woven into your private emails!

IMPORTANT!!!! Complete the sentence using proper English. DO NOT refer to yourself using words like "ME", "MY", "I", "OUR" or end the sentence with punctuation. DO use colorful adjectives, like fabulous, awesome, etc.

I "now" have my own _____________________________________.

I will soon _______________________________________________.

Is that cool?  I’m going to update my account with this new option.

Clients love them.  I love them.  I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to be inspired and motivated for getting the most out of their life.

Best of all, they're free.

Click here to find out more and join the 400,000 others who now receive them!
 Walk in beauty,

William

P.S. Obviously, you’ve noticed that the main stream news creates fear and hopelessness.  Doesn’t it make sense to have a tiny antidote arriving in your email box every morning?

Clearly it does.  Get some good news.
P.P.S. Obviously, you can cancel your Notes any time.

Altar Making Spoke to His Heart

Richard, a long time member of Body & Soul Mentor, sent me this very moving response to his reading Altar Making.  I thought you’d be inspired.

This moment I have downloaded your "Altar Making" and I find it just marvelous. Thank you. It spoke to my heart immediately.

When reading your piece, I was vividly remembered of my youth when I fabricated a lot of "thinking points" in our backyard, on the fence to my father's house, on my way to school... which in retrospect I would probably call "altars" now.

I have e.g. always felt in a very particular way when I was climbing our apple tree in the garden where I had built a tree hut for me alone. It was sort of a retreat for me.

Those memories are very dear to me, and I use some of them in my daily work with patients who have lost their connection.

        Best wishes,

        Richard Schneider, MD
        Rueschlikon, Switzerland

Altar Making will only be available for purchase until August 14th when it will only be available to members in the new version of Body & Soul Mentor private mentoring website. (Stay tuned.)

The Get Wealthy First Program and The Get Well, Be Well, Stay Well Program are already unavailable.  (You can get them both when you become a member of the updated, revised, more fun, reasonably priced website.

Altar Making will disappear on August 14th.

Don’t miss your chance at Altar Making.

Go for it.

Walk and climb trees in beauty,

William

P.S. As time is running out -- Pass this on to your peeps, please.

Sacred Legos

As I was formatting well beloved book -- Altar Making --A Spiritual Practice to Deepen Your Connection to the Sacred for a Kindle version, one of my beloved clients shared her love of building with Legos.  She described her creations with loving passion.

Did you share her passion for building?  I did. Perhaps, you played with dolls or action figures?  remember how fun that was.  For me, I built things with blocks and populated the structures with anachronistic canon, trucks and cars and army men.  A lovely interplay unfolded with movement and imagination.  Enjoying the feeling the weight of the blocks and delighting in the structure taking shape.

My conversation with my client revealed to me that when you create your own altar, you feel that same playful pleasure that you felt as a child.  And when you bring in the Sacred, your satisfaction naturally deepens.

If you’re like me you may also find that your connection to the innocent heart of your inner child deepens and sweetens in this sacred practice of altar making or shrine building.

Just as you loved to play with blocks, Legos, dolls, or action figures, building altars will feed your heart and soul by connecting with your hands and your deep creativity.  And obviously, your soul is nourished in your deepening connection to the Sacred.

It’s wonderful.

In addition to my insights, I have seven friends, spiritual teachers all, that disclose their private experiences with building altars.  Their contributions will feed your heart and expand your horizons. They give you a wide range of surprising insights you will not find anywhere else.

Just imagine how nurturing it can be to build your own sacred altars and shrines.  I recommend you get the book and nurture your soul.

You can get the digital PDF version of Altar Making with color and your 300-day satisfaction money back guarantee here.

Walk in beauty,

William

P.S. the PDF version will only be available for sale until August 13th, then it only be available with a membership.

P.P.S. Members get it included in their membership both now and later.

Spiritual Practice & Carnegie Hall

You know this one: A visitor to New York City asks a local guy, “How do you get to Carnegie Hall?”
The local says, “Practice. Practice. Practice!”

Today, I ask you, “How do you get to live a life you love?”

Same answer, “Practice!”

I have a practice of practicing those things that keep me living a life I love.  Over the year I have tried many things.  In a moment, I’ll share one with you, but first a ground rule.

There is no living happily ever after without continual practices.

Happiness is about circumstances, about chance.  Living a life you love is beyond circumstance.  If you need sunny skies to be happy, you’re subject to the ever changing whims of circumstances.  Living a life you love is about loving it all even in the inevitable rain or snow.

All spiritual traditions have suggestions for you on how to live a life you love.  Some have rules.  Rules aren’t practices; at least not how I think about practices.  We do rules because someone else said so.  You do practices because they work for you.  You have tested them in the crucible of your daily life.

Our Magicality Program Podcasts

As you know, Krysta Gibson and I took on a project to create a series of podcasts that would speak to the listener as if the three of us were having an intimate conversation together – You, me and Krysta just talking about things that matter.

One of our podcasts was about spiritual or life practices.  We gave ourselves a challenge and limited the list to five each.  Both of us use way more than five to navigate this world, but we settled on five we thought would be super useful for you.

You can listen to our Magicality Practices Podcast HERE.

A Fantastic Favorite Practice

Here’s one of my current favorites.  Just sit in a comfortable position, either on a cushion, cross legged on the floor or in a chair.  Then just FEEL the sensations of your breath flowing into your body and flowing out again.  It’s like being caressed by a supremely loving being from the inside.

One simple consequence of this practice is you will be deeply in the present moment.

What good is that?

Well, you’ll be happy.  Your nattering mind will be quiet.  You’ll be calm.

For this moment, you’ll be enlightened, at one with everything and everyone.  You’ll be peaceful.

And what more would you like?

How’s this?  If you have a problem, it will likely be solved by the time you arise.  Or a path to the solution will be evident and you can move on your new direction.

Get all 10 of the practices, test them in your life, and live a life you love.

Walk in beauty (Hint: that’s another practice),

William

P.S. What if just one of the practices could shift your life, so that you loved it ten times as much?

P.P.S. Pass this on to your friends, please.

Why This Poem?

My co-author, Char Sundust, performed a lovely wedding last week.  Each of the 170 attendees received a little beautiful scroll tied with a ribbon.  And Char says, “I took one and opened it.  Inside was your wonderful Love Poem For Mature Hearts.  My heart was so moved...”

Love Poem for Mature Hearts

Love is foolish.

Certain loss waits for you.

So what!?

 Throw yourself away,

And love.

Why would someone choose this poem?  Would you?

Why would I write this for a couple in their 50s getting married?  How is this a blessing?

Can you perceive why I designated “for mature hearts” in the title?

Suzanne and I have been married 40+ years now.  With each passing year, it is more certain that one of us will die and the other will experience “certain loss” and pain.

How much suffering we experience will depend on how much we can throw ourselves away and continue to love in the face of unimaginably huge loss.

Facing this “certain loss” currently drives my spiritual practices.  I continue to open and soften my heart daily.

Writing poetry helps you to face your life with a wide open heart.  Our book God, Death, and Poetry shares poems from our hearts and shows you how you can use poetry to heal and love.

Don’t miss the short video conversation with Char and me.

Blessings,

William

P.S. Hey, get the book.  You’ll be happy.

P.P.S. Pass this post on to anyone who you think would Prosper & enjoy these wonderful insights.

Discover Why She Took A Risk?

Why would you make yourself vulnerable?  Under what circumstance would you do that?

When we recorded our Living with Magicality Program, Krysta Gibson put herself at risk.  Why would she do that? (http://bit.ly/ivLwaO)

When we recorded our podcasts, I took the same risk.  Why would I do that?

Here’s what Krysta says.  As you read this, see what resonates.  How’s it feel in your belly?  In your heart? –

This is the only time I have been involved in a project where I shared some of my own processes in the way I do here. Although it felt somewhat vulnerable to do, I am happy with the outcome. Those who listen to these conversations will hear a distillation of many years of spiritual work put forth by two people who do their best to walk their talk and now are willing to share some of the results with you.

Beyond what Krysta says, let me add.  Vulnerability is what creates love and belonging.  If you put yourself at risk, and share your soul, you create closeness.  Look into your life and see if that feels true.

Whenever someone makes themselves vulnerable and shares their soul with me, I feel closer to them.  Don’t you?

And I hasten to add, be smart – share only with those that have earned the right.

That’s part of why our sharing is a bit riskier – these audio programs are public.  We cannot filter for just the safe people.

But if we don’t model being vulnerable in this public way, how can we be of service?

Now, Go listen to the sample from the podcast and get the complete fourth session on Practices if you like what you hear in the sample.  Our gift.

Walk in beauty with courage,

William

P.S. What if one of these practices, just one made a difference in your life?

You will be happy you listened.  Go for it.
