Here’s how you can use your body to make decisions. Hold the question in your mind. Recently, I was wrestling with what price to set for my private membership monthly subscription rate. In this example I ask, “Is $9.97 a good price?”
I then feel my body’s responses. I mostly feel my belly. You can experiment to find the place in your body that responds best. Just scan your whole body top to bottom. Close your eyes. It helps.
My body “smiles” with the price of $9.97.
Now I try the other side of the decision, the other choice. I ask, “What happens if I drop my price from $15? Should I keep it at $15? After all, it’s 50% more money.” My belly gets tight. I want to hold onto the $15. In other words, my fear comes up. I fear I won’t make enough money to keep the sight running.
Clearly, you and I don’t want to operate from fear. And a smiling body is a good thing. Obviously, I chose to lower the fee from $15 to $9.97 making it easier from my private members to continually enjoy benefits.
This is an excellent example of your body and soul working together, wouldn’t you agree?
For a more thorough approach, the mysterious Madam Ling lives for a day with one of the two choices she is weighing and notices her body. Then the next day she does the same with the other choice.
When the answer from your body is unclear, use this simple approach. Use the same method and sleep on it. In the morning ask the question and it will be clear. Your subconscious will have figured it out while you put your attention elsewhere.
Blessings,
William
